As of July 1st, French drinks group Belvédère officially changed its name to Marie Brizard Wine & Spirits (MBWS).
With a new management under Jean-Noël Reynaud under-way since May 2014, the Group says that “ambitious plans have been put in place” and a new era is on the horizon.
In addition to the Marie Brizard range of French liqueurs, the portfolio includes Sobieski Vodka, Gautier Cognac and William Peel blended Scotch whisky along with Fruits and Wine – a mix of wine and fruit juice aperitif. Travel retail is handled by Marie Brizard Wine & Spirits in Denmark/ Scandinavia, and the address, phone and VAT numbers have not changed, although there is a new email ending with @mbws.com.
