The social highlights of the 30th TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes include many opportunities to network as we raise important funding for worthy causes supported by TFWA Care.
Delegates are being urged to ‘Show You Care’ on Sunday, Oct. 26 at the Carlton Beach on La Croisette to take part in the first TFWA Charity Run.
Those not running, walking or dancing the course can cheer the athletes on and sponsor their efforts. Each participant will make a €15 donation and everyone can show their support by donating €10 for a 30th Anniversary “Show you Care!” ribbon. All proceeds will go to the good causes supported by TFWA Care.
The Golf Tournament, spon- sored by Gebr. Heinemann and Estée Lauder, will tee off early on Sunday at the Old Course at Cannes Mandelieu Golf Club. A charitable donation of €100 will be requested from all players.
Up to 100 competitors will take up their boules on Sunday mor- ning for the Pétanque Tournament, sponsored by Tic Tac, at the Place de l’Etang followed by lunch at L’Ecrin beach restaurant.
The Opening Cocktail takes place Sunday evening in the iconic Carlton Hotel, topped off with a fabulous firework display courtesy of the city of Cannes.
The Scene will be ‘party central’ from Monday-Thursday, 22:00 to 02:00 at the Gare Maritime next door to the Palais. Sponsors include Ferrero, Heineken, Rémy Cointreau, Perfetti Van Melle, José Cuervo, Wonderful Pistachios, Brown-Forman and Campari.
The glittering Le Premium Evening is Thursday, Oct. 30 at the Port Canto. Dinner will be prepared by 3-star Michelin Master chef Régis Marcon followed by a performance by guitar great Nile Rodgers and CHIC. Tickets can be purchased at www.tfwa.com
