Starboard Cruise Services appoints Brenda Yester Baty as Chief Commercial Officer

Starboard Cruise Services has appointed Brenda Yester Baty to the new role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). In this newly created position, Baty will guide the company’s discipline for integration of business insights, shopper and market intelligence into operational execution and program development to further enhance Starboard’s delivery of exceptional guest experiences, says the company.

Baty brings a deep understand-ing of consumer lifestyle and hospitality brands built over a 25-year career spanning four Fortune 500 companies, including 15 years with Carnival Cruise Line where she established and grew their Revenue Management practice. As Senior Vice President Revenue Management at CCL she oversaw $3 billion in revenue budget and led enterprise-wide analytics.

In 2014, Baty joined one of the country’s leading homebuilders, Lennar Corporation, as Head of Strategy and Innovation. Earlier in her career, she held a variety of commercial, finance, and accounting posts at Royal Caribbean Cruises and Ryder System.

She will be joining Starboard’s Operating Committee, reporting directly to Anish Melwani, Chair-

man & CEO of LVMH Inc. North America and Chairman of Starboard Cruise Services.

During 2017 and 2018, she served as Board Chair for Make-A-Wish America. Ms. Baty resides in South Florida with her husband Greg.
