A new travel retail tradition was born this week. The first ever Duty Free Americas Charity Golf Tournament that took place at the beautiful Weston Hills Country Club was a huge success. Not only did the industry raise more than $180K for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (and that is before the raffles and auction monies are added in) but 120 friends and colleagues from all over North America gathered together. It was such a nice event that DFA CEO Jerome Falic has already promised another one next year — so Duty Free friends start planning now. Pages 1 & 2.

Congratulations to Jonathan Bonchick and the DFA marketing team for putting together such a stellar event. See photos Inside Insider and make sure to check out the TMI Facebook page for more shots.
