ACI reports that global air passenger traffic maintained its growth momentum through November and expects full year 2014 figures to end up about 5%.

Chicago’s O’Hare International and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International are duking it out for bragging rights as the world’s busiest airport. Meanwhile, Beijing continues to gain in passenger numbers, and had risen to #2 in ACI’s January – September 2014 rankings.

Miami International Airport continues to grow and celebrates another record year of passenger traffic – its fifth record-breaking year in a row. The US Department of Commerce also reports that 2014 was a record year for international air traffic to/from the United States, and was up 7% to more than 197 million. Read full stories on page 1.
