IN THE NEWS. As the U.S. government shutdown enters its second month today, the impact is being felt by more and more Americans. The partial shutdown has hit the aviation industry particularly hard, and the U.S. Travel Association is forecasting a loss of $100 million a day to the economy just through the impact on travel alone. 3Sixty (the former DFASS) has inked a far-reaching agreement with Avianca Holdings to convert the current inflight concessions with AVH’s airlines to an innovative online pre-order duty free and duty-paid platform.
