Travel retail data and insights expert Pi Insight introduces enhanced services and signals next phase of growth

Travel retail data and research provider Pi Insight has revealed an elevated suite of consultancy and information services.

The UK-based firm, a long-term partner to leading industry associations including ETRC and TFWA, has also refreshed its branding with a bold new website and corporate logo.

The company says that it plans a wave of free-to-air resources such as blogs, commentary, data, insights, newsletters, infographics and social media activity to  reposition its outward facing role in response to key industry trends.

Enhancing industry value

The new-look website, www.pi-insight.com, is designed as a ‘one-stop intelligence hub’, carrying the latest shopper insights and backed by regular and ongoing commentary around key consumer behaviors and performance tracking tools.

Stephen Hillam, Managing Director, Pi Insight, commented: “We want to be the voice of the industry when it comes to consumer and industry insights, intelligence and knowledge. We have based the website re-design around this. The intent is to be the go-to place for stakeholders to understand key industry dynamics so they can confidently develop insight-led strategies.

“For us, it’s not purely about sales. We are here to support the global travel retail industry in providing differentiated value to stakeholders via insights that are on-trend, relevant, high-quality, cost effective, and most importantly, actionable.

“The industry is becoming more data reliant and insight focused. As a result, we are continuously expanding our capabilities, methodologies, skillsets, but also capacity to ensure rapid and accurate delivery of the best intelligence in the business. If you need to find something out, Pi Insight is your first port of call.”

Expansion agenda

Pi Insight says 2026 marks a watershed moment for the company, which was founded in 2019 and specializes in data management, research reports and bespoke analysis.

The latest developments build on a period of strong and sustained growth in the years following the Covid-19 pandemic.

In May this year, Pi Insight named Sabeen Ditta into the newly created role of Client Success Manager. The appointment coincides with Pi Insight scaling its operational capabilities in reaction to heightened client demand.

In September, the comp-any will release its 2026 Global Shopper Study, which consolidates shopper insights across 14 global traveling and duty free spending nationalities.

Looking ahead, Pi Insight has identified four critical business priorities:

• Greater integration with existing clients as an extension to their teams

• Increasing its customer base

• Reinforcing service USPs on impactful insights, cost effectiveness and quality

• Building authority as travel retail’s ‘go-to’ data provider

Sabeen Ditta, Client Success Manager, Pi Insight added: “Working with clients as a strategic extension of their team and identifying clear, actionable intelligence is at the heart of what we do. With our new website and closer integration of our consultancy, analytics and insight capabilities, we are better placed than ever to support brands and retailers with the clarity to drive strong commercial outcomes.”

The Pi Insight team will be attending this year’s TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes.
