South American duty free specialist Adda Rodriguez has embarked on a unique new venture, creating a company called The 7c Group, www.the7cgroup.com, to provide a range of services for companies entering the travel retail venue, especially – but not limited to — Latin America.
“My company name represents the seven continents of the world. The7cGroup aims to bring the players together,” Rodriguez tells TMI.
“I formed this company because I saw a need for greater change in the industry. Travelers need more options and better services, particularly in airports… With my certificates in airport retail management, I am very aware of untapped possibilities.
“The7cGroup will work with all airport and border retailers, and assist them in bringing unique products to their stores. I will not be only representing brands, but also retailers and airports, which are seeking popular products they are unaware of, or services that could help boost airport revenues,” she says.
The 7cGroup can also assist retailers in bidding for space and is expert in positioning, branding and communications as well as creating customer experiences. Adda will be in Cannes.
