Avolta expands with new store opening at Chile’s Santiago International Airport

Avolta opened a new duty-paid store at Santiago International Airport in Chile at the end of October. The new 950-sq-meter walk-through new store expands the company’s existing portfolio, and offers passengers more opportunities to experience Avolta’s commitment to create a strong sense of place.

The new store showcases Avolta’s best-selling products across the perfumes and cosmetics, wine and spirits, confectionery and fashion and accessories categories.

Strategically located in Domestic Terminal 1, the walk-through commercial area captures all passenger traffic and houses a dedicated space for brand activations enriched by digital screens displaying targeted promotions that increase brand visibility. An attractive tasting area invites guests to sample from the store’s wide assortment, enhancing the overall shopping experience.

Ariel Moscardi, Avolta General Manager South America, commented: “We are happy to unveil our newest store to travelers, that enhances their experience in one of the most important airports in Chile, where we already operate a portfolio of duty free, duty-paid and convenience stores.

“In line with the company’s Destination 2027 strategy to revolutionize the travel experience, our multi-channel approach is centered on flexibility and responsiveness to local market demands, enhancing digital engagement through innovative technologies to cater to the evolving preferences of travelers.

“We will keep working together with Nuevopudahuel to deliver the best possible experience to the passengers of Santiago International Airport and I would like to thank everyone at Avolta that has been involved in bringing this store to life.”
