Champagne Lanson will unveil an ambitious program of travel retail and consumer activations celebrating its partnership with Wimbledon at this year’s TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes.
Lanson will reveal its plans for 2027, marking its 50th year at The Championships, Wimbledon, where Lanson has been served since 1977. This milestone coincides with the 150th anniversary of the world’s oldest tennis tournament.
The anniversary program will feature the launch of exclusive Global Travel Retail packaging, limited-edition releases and an extensive calendar of domestic and selected airport activations designed to engage travelers and champagne lovers throughout the celebratory year.
In Cannes, the company will preview how Champagne Lanson intends to leverage two globally recognized anniversaries through premium storytelling, distinctive merchandizing and exclusive retail experiences.
Founded in 1760, Champ-agne Lanson is one of the few Champagne Houses whose origins pre-date the French Revolution. Remaining an independent, family-owned Maison based in Reims, Lanson today exports to more than 105 countries.
The relationship between Champagne Lanson and Wimble-don is one of the longest-standing partnerships in world sport. Today, approximately 150,000 glasses of Lanson champagne are enjoyed each year across the tournament’s hospitality venues, bars and restaurants.
Lanson will also showcase the Maison’s Global Travel Retail portfolio, including favorites such as Le Black Création, Le Rosé Création, Le Blanc de Blancs and the prestigious Noble Champagne.
“The dual anniversaries represent a unique opportunity to celebrate an iconic partnership that has become part of both Wimbledon and Champagne Lanson’s identity,” said Emmanuel Gantet, Export Director Champagne Lanson. “Our partnership with Wimbledon remains one of the most important expressions of Champagne Lanson’s brand identity, reflecting shared values of heritage, excellence and celebration. These two important anniversaries enable us to use GTR to both drive visibility and create memorable experiences that strengthen consumers’ emotional connection with the brand.
“We look forward to welcoming our travel retail partners in Cannes and sharing our plans for what promises to be a truly memorable year.”
