Duty Free Global, Barry Geoghegan’s specialized wines and spirits brand partner focused on building brands in the global Duty Free and Travel Retail channel, has bolstered its presence in the Americas with two key appointments.
Experienced duty free veteran John Gallagher has joined Duty Free Global to Head up sales in the Latin American region and Michael Pasternak will be working with the company as a consultant for wine and spirits in North America.
Both Gallagher and Pasternak also work with Travel Markets Insider, and will continue to do so.
Gallagher has worked with a broad range of iconic spirits brands throughout his career in both travel retail and domestic channels, before setting up his own consultancy in 2008.
Pasternak has been working in the duty free and travel retail industry for almost two decades for TMI, where he serves as Executive Editor with a focus on wines and spirits.
