TFWA to hold first research workshop in Cannes

Block_WE2015_RGB_bigTFWA will host its first dedicated research workshop at the World Exhibition & Conference in the Palais des Festivals in Cannes on Wednesday, Oct. 21, starting at 18.00 (6 pm).

The one-hour workshop will present key findings of the Association’s most recent research studies, all of which are available free of charge to members.

Peter Mohn, Owner and CEO, m1nd-set, and Alison Hughes, Research Director, Counter Intelligence Retail, will present highlights of the studies at the workshop which will be moderated by TFWA Conference, Research and Corporate Affairs Director John Rimmer.

All registered show delegates are welcome at the session. Summaries of the research will be available at that time.

Over the past year, TFWA has commissioned two major series of reports: the TFWA Airport Series, conducted by m1nd-set, and the current series of TFWA Category Reports focusing on individual product categories, in partnership with Counter Intelligence Retail.

Tues., Oct. 20 (Majestic Hotel, 8-9 am) Market Watch Work-shop on South Korea, with speakers including SK Walkerhill Senior Vice President & Head of Duty Free Division Mikyong Kwon and Yang Soung-hoon, Professor of the Division of International Tourism at Silla University in Busan.
Wed., Oct. 21 (Majestic, 8-9 am) Inflight Focus Workshop featuring presentations and debate led by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Category Manager Inflight Retail John Linssen, Inflight Sales Group Director Europe & Africa Karen Durban and Counter Intelligence Retail MD Garry Stasiulevicuis.
