Today’s issue of Travel Markets Insider focuses heavily on Beauty News from throughout the industry.
In the region, Miami-based fragrance distribution company Essence Corp hosted a special Beauty Consultant Seminar in Cartagena, Colombia, bringing together top BAs from both its travel retail business and its Caribbean business.
From trainings and hands-on workshops on an impressive lineup of luxury fragrances, to fun-filled innovative networking opportunities (including a launch party onboard a private yacht), the event has been heralded as a resounding success. Read all about it on page 3.
Globally, Balmain Beauty – established in 2022 through a partnership between the French fashion house Balmain Paris and The Estée Lauder Companies – has launched its first fragrances, a collection of all-gender eaux de parfums called “Les Éternels de Balmain.” See full story on page 4.
Coty Travel Retail has also launched a new selection from its hugely successful Burberry Goddess line at major airports throughout the globe: Burberry Goddess Eau De Parfum Intense began debuting in airport travel retail on August 1. See more details on age 4.
Local success. KROMA Makeup, a health-conscious, luxury natural line of makeup created in Florida for the past 20 years, has been short-listed for the prestigious 2024 European Natural Beauty Awards, which will be presented in October in Stockholm, Sweden. This international recognition comes on the heels of the brand’s launch into travel retail. TMI’s Lois Pasternak speaks with KROMA founder Lee Cristou about the brand’s journey up until now. Page 5.
