It should come as no surprise that the latest Duty Free World Council KPI Monitor reports that air traffic has surpassed 2019 levels in all regions except Asia Pacific, which has been delayed with staggered re-openings. What may be surprising is that the Monitor shows that staff interaction levels are on the rise again, perhaps fueled by effective industry training programs on customer service and engagement. In a very welcome move expanding the scope of its venues, the IAADFS has named Starboard’s Lisa Bauer to a newly created seat on the Association’s Board of Directors. Page 1.
