Today’s issue of Travel Markets Insider revisits the very successful 2025 edition of F&B@Sea, the specialized offshoot of Seatrade Cruise Global. Held for the third time this year, the trade show for food and beverage for the cruise industry occupied double the space of 2024 and welcomed more than 1,500 attendees from 37 countries! See full story on page 1.
Quite a few of the leading brands in travel retail were well represented at F&B@Sea, as the cruise channel continues to offer exciting opportunities for F&B, especially for the spirits sector. See a selection of photos showing who was on hand, page 2.
Mark your calendars now for 2026. F&B@Sea will return next year, taking place from April 15-16. It will be in the same venue – the Mana Wynwood Convention Center in Miami.
BY THE NUMBERS
U.S. inbound travel plummets in March. The uncertainty resulting from the on-again-off-again threat of a Trade War and tariffs apparently is affecting overseas air travel to the U.S. TMI has already reported on the drastic drop in cross-border traffic. See latest numbers on overseas travel on pages 1 & 3.
ACI: Busiest airports.
Airports Council International (ACI) World has released a preliminary look at the 2024 rankings of the world’s busiest airports. ACI says that the data showcases the resilience of these airports in navigating global uncertainty. While U.S. airports have a strong showing in the top 10 in total passengers, (#1, #3, #6, #8), there are no North American airports in the top 10 rankings of international air passenger travel.
