Dufry has announced that Xavier Rossinyol, Chief Operating Officer of Region 1 EMEA & Asia and member of the Group Executive Committee of Dufry Group, will step down from his current position on April 1, 2015. Since joining the company in 2004 as Group Chief Financial Officer, Rossinyol was a key executive in the development of Dufry Group from a strategic and financial perspective. He contributed to transform Dufry into a true global retailer, and has made valuable contributions in building strong finance functions, and driving business development and performance in Asia and Europe.
Rossinyol will be joining global airport provider gategroup as the new CEO, replacing Andrew Gibson, who is undertaking new professional opportunities in North America. His xuccessor at Dufry has not yet been named.
