International Shoppes and Otis McAllister, Inc. in partnership with General Cigar Company, celebrated the opening of a new Cohiba humidor in the International Shoppes Duty Free store in Terminal 1 at John F. Kennedy International Airport on November 11, 2023.
The 12-foot walk up humidor and center floor display offer a welcoming environment for cigar aficionados and provide a contemporary shopping experience. Its premium design made with natural cedar and elegant finishes are reminiscent of how these fine cigars are made with the utmost quality, say the companies.
In addition to a premier selection from the wide range of Cohiba products, shoppers will be able to find cigars from the well-known brands Macanudo, CAO, Partagas, Don Tomas and more. The new humidor displays will preserve the quality of the cigars by ensuring they are stored under the optimal conditions. Customers will also be able to purchase specialty products, including rare collector’s items and travel retail exclusive products.
General Cigar Company has created a Travel Retail exclusive that will be available to purchase in the new humidor, called the Cohiba C8 Limited Edition Collector’s Piece. This rare, new Cohiba cigar includes innovative packaging that features 10 Cohiba C8 cigars, ST Dupont cutter and lighter, and branded card all in a travel-friendly briefcase.
