Miami city officials unveiled a series of new beautification projects and passenger experience upgrades at Miami International Airport during a nighttime ceremony on June 12.
In preparation of Miami-Dade County’s first FIFA 2026 World Cup match, the event show-cased MIA’s first-ever up-lighting installations, facility improvements across key terminal areas, large-scale baggage claim murals created in partnership with the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB), and a refreshed MIA brand identity.
Community partners joined Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava for the ceremony, which concluded with the debut of MIA’s updated logo – a collaborative effort between MIA, the GMCVB, and the County’s Communications, Information, and Technology Department symbolizing the airport’s renewed commitment to exceptional customer service.
