The Bluedog Group has appointed Rebecca Mann as Senior Account & Content Manager within its specialist PR division Essential Communications, following a successful period of freelance collaboration. The appointment is effective August 1, 2026.
At Essential Communications, she will take on a central role in account leadership, content strategy and business development.
The move further strengthens The Bluedog Group’s integrated offer, enhancing its ability to deliver strategic PR, high-quality content and industry insight to brands across global travel retail, says the company.
Mann brings 30 years of channel experience to the role, underpinned by a distinguished career spanning journalism, PR, copywriting and content creation.
She is widely recognized across the industry for her long-standing editorial career, which began in GTR at Duty Free News International in 1996, followed by more than a decade at The Moodie Davitt Report (then The Moodie Report) as Associate Editor in 2003, rising to Executive Director – Editorial in 2013. She began her journalism career at Nicholas Hall & Company and has held senior press officer/communications roles in both the public and private sector, adding extensive expertise in media relations and corporate messaging to her skillset.
Following her transition from full-time journalism, Mann has worked as a freelance copywriter, account manager and content producer, supporting a range of clients across B2B and B2C industries.
The Bluedog Group’s CEO, Nick King, commented: “Rebecca’s appointment reflects our continued focus on bringing in senior talent with genuine sector expertise.
