TFWA names former Coty executive Philippe Margueritte as next President

TFWA has named Philippe Margueritte, former Coty executive, as the new President of the Association

Margueritte was elected by the TFWA Management Committee during its meeting in Paris today (Dec. 13). Margueritte succeeds Erik Juul-Mortensen, who did not run for re-election.

Margueritte’s background includes more than seven years with L’Oréal, and more than 15 years with Coty, the last seven as head of global travel retail.

His tenure will run for one-year, through December 2025.

Erik Juul-Mortensen, outgoing TFWA President, commented: “As my tenure as TFWA President comes to a close, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the TFWA Board, Management Committee, the permanent team and of course the members for their support over the years.

“It has been an absolute privilege to have served this dynamic industry. I trust that the Association will remain true to its values and motto ‘by the trade, for the trade’, and wish the Association all the very best as it now embarks on a new chapter.”
