The Singleton has launched a new travel retail exclusive collection of single malts, ‘Gardens of Abundance,’ the biggest malts launch ever for Diageo Global Travel. This exclusive range features four distinctive whiskies: Radiant Spring Garden, Golden Autumn Orchard, Exotic Spice Grove, and Deep Forest Riches.
The company says the new range invites whisky enthusiasts to awaken their imagination and senses, embracing flavors that exemplify the highest levels of whisky craftsmanship.
The company describes these whiskies as “a tribute to the earth’s bounty, where each bottle reflects the harmony between nature and craftsmanship.”
The Singleton was the fastest growing single malt globally in 2023, as recently announced by IWSR, and has been awarded over 30 accolades in the past two years.
The Singleton Master Blender Dr. Craig Wilson, said: “This is one of the most exciting collections we have ever worked on. They are flavor-first whiskies that let us push the boundaries of our craft. The Singleton team and I are incredibly proud of them and I can’t wait for people to sample and explore.
“Inspired by seasonality, we developed flavors that evoke specific times and places. We focused on environments that inspired emotions and aromas, influencing not only the whisky but also the naming, recipes, and wood types used for aging. The first variant, Radiant Spring Garden, reflects the terroir of the distillery and its surroundings. As the collection progresses, it incorporates more exotic influences. The whiskies evolve from light, grassy notes to mature orchards, sweet spice groves, and rich forest woodiness.
“Opening a bottle from this range is like stepping into a secret garden, with aromas of blooming flowers, fresh herbs, and ripe fruits, promising a unique sensory journey.”
The Singleton Gardens of Abundance Collection includes: Radiant Spring Garden, RRP: £55; Golden Autumn Orchard, RRP: £80; Exotic Spice Grove, RRP: £150; and Deep Forest Riches, RRP: £220. Prices will vary as per market.
The Singleton – Gardens of Abundance collection will be available in airports including Changi, Delhi, Dubai and Heathrow from August 2024. The collection will then roll out across more airports in the following months.
