The good news about recovery keeps coming in, with IATA’s latest air traffic report (for May 2023) showing that both North America and the Middle East have now surpassed 2019 pre-pandemic levels. Page 1.

The UNWTO backs this up with the news that international tourism arrivals to the Americas is now at 86% of pre-pandemic levels across the region, with several destinations significantly above where they were before the COVID-19 virus hit. Page 1.
