The biggest story of the week broke on Friday when TFWA announced that John Rimmer was stepping down from his role as Managing Director at the end of October. Super intelligent, unassuming, and incredibly effective, John is one of the all-around nicest gentlemen in the industry and we at TMI wish him the greatest success in his next endeavor. See more details on this breaking news on page 6.

WiTR+ holds a jewel of an evening in Singapore

The Women in Travel Retail+ networking group hosted a charity event at Jewel Changi Airport in Singapore on August 2, the first event to be held at the airport since 2019. The beneficiary of the event was the Koma Karanth Foundation, which is building homes and a community for people in need in the Philippines. The evening was filled with good food, good cheer and good fun as it supported a very good cause—the designated WiTR+ charity for 2023. To see how your company might help, please go to page 7.
