Today’s huge issue of Travel Markets Insider covers both an incredibly busy week that just passed and gives a glimpse of some of the wonderful new products that will be on display at the IAADFS Summit of the Americas, which begins tonight with the official Opening Cocktail (preceded by a casual WiTR+ gathering).

The booming cruise industry – which served two million more guests in 2023 than in 2019 – was one main topic of the 2024 Seatrade Cruise Global event which took place in Miami this past week. More than 11,000 attendees gathered for the world’s largest B2B cruise event, from more than 120 countries.

As part of the Seatrade Cruise Global event, the 2nd F&B@Sea took place in its own venue, in Miami’s dynamic Wynwood Arts District. In its second year, the event was double the size, with many familiar travel retail brands and faces in attendance. Picture gallery begins on page 2.

Retail also had its special day at Seatrade last week, with a full-day program of conferences dedicated to onboard shopping. Co-organized by Seatrade Cruise Global and The Moodie Davitt Report, the event was moderated by The Moodie Report President Dermot Davitt, and Nadine Heubel, herself a Seatrade Cruise Global Ambassador.
