Air traffic continues to show healthy year-over-year gains, reports the latest IATA analysis, although not at the staggering rates that were seen post-pandemic when travel bans first began to be lifted.

As a result of more moderate growth, travel research companies such as Skift are saying that the world is now in a “travel slowdown,” even as it admits that “travel itself is a global megatrend that isn’t abating anytime for coming decades.” Page 1.

Nestlé International Travel Retail reports that it has been making good progress in delivering category growth since it launched its Food#1 strategy in 2021. NITR is now underpinning this strategy by focusing on the opportunity of the Gen Z consumers, who are expected to be the largest traveling segment by 2028.
