Dior and Duty Free Americas unveil exclusive pop-up store at MIA

Dior, in partnership with Duty Free Americas, has launched an exclusive pop-up store located in Miami International Airport Terminal D by gate D47. The “enchanting” retail experience will be available from March through June 2024 and invites passengers to discover the new Miss Dior Parfum.

At the heart of this animation lies an opportunity for customers to explore the latest addition to the iconic fragrance line – the new Miss Dior Parfum.

Alongside this centerpiece, the pop-up features a handpicked selection of Miss Dior fragrances, makeup, and skincare products, each embodying the sophistication and savoir faire of Parfums Christian Dior, says the company.

The legendary original Miss Dior was created in 1947 when Christian Dior wanted a fragrance that would convey his fashions and the spirit of the era.

Then, two decades later, Miss Dior became “the scent of a young generation rediscovering a taste for life. The scent of youth that would become the eternal signature of the founding fragrance, and dazzle alongside its spirit and desires, as it did for the ‘Miss Dior’ ready-to-wear collection that appeared in 1967,” says the company.

This was his first collection of the House dedicated to the young people who were daring enough to wear the pop colors of the 60’s revolution, which was then in full swing.

Echoing this legacy is the latest creation from Francis Kurkdjian, the new creative director for Parfums Dior. The new Miss Dior Parfum is a modern interpretation that features intense floral, fruity and woody notes.

A Nod to Heritage and Innovation

The pop-up store itself is an homage to both heritage and innovation, where luxury meets legacy.

It features “Miss Dior logomania” elements that pay tribute to the audaciousness and explorative spirit characteristic of both past eras—like that which inspired Miss Dior’s first ready-to-wear collection in 1967— and today’s daring trends.
