Duty Free Dynamics welcomes LAMY to brand portfolio as it expands footprint to EMEA

Duty Free Dynamics (DFD) has expanded its presence into the EMEA region with the addition of German writing instrument brand LAMY as a new key partner.

DFD is widely known throughout the Travel Retail industry in the Americas as a “commercializer” of global brand concepts and with this announcement, DFD says that it is “embarking on an exciting new chapter in its history with the expansion of its operations onto the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.

Duty Free Dynamics CEO, Martin Mairal, expressed enthusiasm for this new partnership: “We are very proud to add the LAMY brand to our portfolio. For our expansion in EMEA, we sought a well-established brand with great potential in the Travel Retail channel, and LAMY, with its outstanding quality and commitment to design, aligns perfectly with the values we were seeking. We are confident that this partnership will bolster our market position and provide unique opportunities to our partners.

“The decision to globalize our operations was driven by the remarkable success we achieved in the Americas with the brands we represent, which experienced significant benefits from DFD’s out-standing performance, now leading them to seek a global solution. Consistently, as our partner operators with a worldwide presence have also expressed the same demand, DFD is actively adding high-potential new brands to its portfolio for the EMEA travel retail market,” said Mairal.

LAMY is renowned for its exceptional design writing instruments, combined with functionality.

The iconic LAMY 2000 model, introduced in 1966, set the foundation for the brand’s distinctive design language, which continues to define the style of all LAMY products to this day, says the company.
