The UNWTO is forecasting that Europe and the Middle East could return to pre-pandemic tourism numbers by the end of this year. With the recent lifting of COVID-19 travel restrictions, Chinese tourists are expected to increase significantly, although UNWTO cautions that this will not happen overnight. Page 1.

m1nd-set. The Swiss-based travel retail research agency has released a 4-year air traffic forecast that shows Asia and the Pacific are showing the highest percentage of air traffic growth – although North America will be the first region to surpass its pre-pandemic level, in 2024. Page 2.
