Travel Markets Insider is delighted to be presenting this week’s issue, which is filled with the most positive news we have run in 16 months.

In another milestone, TFWA this week is holding its Asia Pacific Hainan Special Edition and launching its new TFWA 365 digital platform. Page 1.

With one notable exception, every story today deals with ground-breaking developments at the Point of Sale, including a historic new store opening, luxury product launches in airport stores and the debut of exciting retail concessions aboard a slew of new ships.

That one (very disappointing) negative exception is the news that the U.S./Canada border will remain closed to non-essential traffic for at least another month, through July 21. This marks the 16th month of closure, a situation that is devastating the Canadian land border business. See more details on page 1.

WiTR NOTE: The next Women in Travel Retail webinar will take place on Monday, June 28, 12:00-13:30 UK BST (07:00 – 08:30 USA EDT ).
