IATA: Strong passenger demand resumes in September

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced that global passenger traffic grew 7% in September compared to the same month in 2015. This was the strongest year-over-year increase in seven months. Capacity climbed 6.6% and load factor edged up 0.3 percentage points to 81.1%. BAT offers $47 billion for control of Reynolds

British American Tobacco announced last week that it had offered to buy out U.S. cigarette maker Reynolds American Inc in a US$47 billion takeover bid.
